Upcoming Napa Valley Outdoor Concerts 2022

Napa Valley offers much to do and see year-round, but as with anywhere else in the country, the area truly comes to life in the summertime. One characteristic of the summer season is the increased frequency of outdoor concerts. Here are a few outdoor concerts you won’t want to miss in wine country.

Venue: Oxbow RiverStage

The Oxbow RiverStage is a popular outdoor venue set along the Oxbow River. The open-air festival-style amphitheater boasts a summer lineup you won’t want to miss. You can enjoy the music and the summer air along with the best classic wine country views. While you enjoy the concert, you can walk around and sample locally sourced wines and grab a bite from one of the many food trucks that are set up for these events. Here are the outdoor concerts they’ve got lined up for the rest of 2022:

  • July 29: A-ha
  • August 12: Trombone Shorty & Orleans Ave
  • August 23: Robert Plant & Alison Krauss
  • August 26-28: Widespread Panic
  • September 4: Leon Bridges
  • September 17: Bonnie Raitt with Mavis Staples

Venue: Charles Krug Winery

Did you know you can attend outdoor concerts at the oldest winery in Napa Valley? That’s right. Four generations of the Peter Mondavi, Sr. family have been operating this winery for over a century and a half. It features a Redwood Cellar Tasting Room and Hospitality Center. It’s also a Registered National Historic Landmark, so you can absorb the history of the location while you enjoy a concert on the small stage at the winery grounds. Some of the remaining summer 2022 lineup includes:

  • July 29: Bebel Gilberto
  • August 12: The Psychedelic Furs
  • August 21: George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic
  • September 15: Rodrigo y Gabriela
  • September 23-24: moe

Ongoing Outdoor Music Events

There are several other ongoing outdoor entertainment series to fill the rest of your summer in Napa Valley. Festival Napa Valley, for example, takes place each summer and brings you amazing performances in some of the best settings Napa Valley has to offer, many of which happen to be wineries. If you’re a fan of Broadway, there is even a performance series just for you. The Broadway & Vine series still has two performances left in their summer 2022 lineup. August 10th with Ciara Renee and Natalie Tenenbaum and September 20th with Abby Mueller, both hosted at Tre Posti.

If you’re a Jazz fan, you won’t want to miss the Blue Note Jazz Festival, also held at the Charles Krug Estate Winery from July 29th-31st.
